WHO I AM

This is me.

I bit the bullet and went with the WordPress upgrade.  I’ve been following so many WordPress blogs, and I’d like to have a place where I can better interact with other bloggers.  It’s about time I learned how to blog, period.

So, about me.  I’m a married mother of a grown daughter who is married, and a grown son who lives at home with my husband and me.  I was raised a Fundamentalist Protestant.  I have been reading posts by and about gay Christians, and I find I am challenged about what I have been taught.  This is a serious endeavor I am undertaking, not the least of which is because I converted to Roman Catholicism in 2004.  I love my faith.  I know the Spirit of God moves slowly within Christendom at times. I have been affected by the toxic side of Fundamentalism, and this is what really drives my identity. I try to just love people.  It’s pretty hard at times.
