MY PURSUIT OF LATIN

The link above is to the Rosary in Latin. Matthew suggested that I learn the Hail Mary and the Our Father in Latin. With the link above, I can also learn the Glory Be, Fatima Prayer, as well as the Salve Regina. I asked my friend Sharon, owner of ‘The Littlest Angel’ Catholic bookstore, to poke around and see if she can order a recording of the Rosary in Latin, so I can hear what it is supposed to sound like. The Latin Rite church has Mass on Wednesday evenings, I found out, and they pray the Rosary afterwards. I am planning on going Wednesday evening, assuming that I don’t get lost again. I figure if I can learn the Latin prayers of the Church, without stumbling around with the pronunciation, I might have a shot at actually learning the language of the Saints. Sancta Maria, Mater Dei, ora pro nobis!
