I am grateful for the comment left on my post entitled ‘DISAPPOINTED’. His blogspot led me to some helpful links regarding this ongoing quest of mine to discern what in the world happened to the Missals, and which one is the ‘right’ one to use. I especially was struck by Stephen’s comment: I wish our Lady would just come down and fix everything. This morning, before I prayed the Rosary, I asked her for just that! I asked her to talk to someone, and give us a message! I have asked her to intercede for the Church. The divisions must cease, the sins weeded out, and the truths of our Lord Jesus Christ restored. Modernism with its ecumenical gobbledygook must be done away with. I find it amazing that there are so many people who believe that there is more than one way to be saved. That is a thinking which is strongly condemned by the fundamentalist protestants of which I was once a member. If protestants see the danger of ecumenicalism, how did the Church’s leaders miss it?

Outside the Church, no salvation. There can only be one way to salvation. Otherwise, how can one be sure he has the proper path? Did Jesus, our Good Shepherd, mean it when He said that we are to strive to enter by the narrow gate? Was He serious when He warned us that the road to heaven is narrow and difficult, and ‘few there be that find it’? Isn’t the promotion of the broad road, which leads to destruction, actually putting souls in peril?
